“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24 (ESV)
As I sit in stillness this morning, my heart overflows with joy. It’s a quiet kind of joy, deep and full, the kind that settles in when you pause long enough to count your blessings and realize how many there really are.
This week, I was touched by a simple yet meaningful act of love: beautiful flowers from our church’s Called to Care Team. Their thoughtfulness reminded me how powerfully God works through His people, sending grace and encouragement in even the smallest gestures. I felt seen. I felt cared for, and I was reminded that community is one of God’s sweetest gifts.

I’m also overwhelmed with thankfulness for the people in my life, those who walk with me, laugh with me, and carry burdens with me. They are God’s fingerprints in my every day.
And tomorrow, I get to witness love in full bloom as a dear friend says “I do.” Weddings always feel like a glimpse of heaven… joyful, hopeful, sacred. They are reminders of God’s covenant love for us and the beauty that comes when two lives are woven together by His hands.
So today, I’m resting in this: God is good. His mercies are new this morning. His gifts surround us, sometimes wrapped in flower petals, other times in laughter, and often in the quiet presence of those who love us well. Happy Friday, friends! Enjoy this beautiful weekend.
