My Fruity Friends

By

Yesterday, I got to have breakfast with three very special women in my life. There’s a sacred kind of bond that forms when hearts meet in faith, love, and shared life. For several years now, I’ve had the blessing of walking through life with three other women who are much more than friends. They are my sisters in Christ. Together, we call ourselves “The Fruits of the Spirit.” My husband, with his usual loving humor, calls us the “Fruit Loops”, and honestly, on any given day, both names might be true.

Through daily messages… some filled with prayer, others with worship music, a verse of encouragement, or the honest ache of a heavy heart, we hold one another up. We remind each other who God is, who we are in Him, and that we are never alone. When one of us rejoices, we all dance. When one of us is crushed, we all feel the weight and lift it together in love and faith.

Our connection isn’t just a chat thread. It’s a lifeline. A ministry. A sisterhood of encouragement and truth-telling and grace. It’s the Spirit moving through group texts and quiet prayers. It’s God’s love in action—daily, consistently, sometimes hilariously, but always sacredly.

These women are proof that the Body of Christ works best when it shows up in everyday life—when it listens, prays, laughs, and even cries together. I love them. I need them. And I thank God for them.

If you don’t have this kind of connection yet, pray for it. Look for it. Be it for someone else. Because everyone deserves to know the strength of Spirit-filled sisterhood. 🍎🍋🍊🍇
