Did you know that Thomas Edison had over 1,000 patents in his name? He once said, “I have not failed.  I’ve just found ten thousand ways that won’t work.”

I am certain if I were given his circumstances, I would have given up. If we’re honest with each other, the majority of us would’ve given up. Imagine the world if more of us had Thomas Edison’s attitude.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:12-13
