Monday gets a bad rap. I know it’s the end of the weekend, the alarm hits different, and the to-do list seems to have multiplied overnight, but Mondays are also a fresh start… aclean slate, another chance to show up, live fully, love well, and shine brightly for God.

Think of it this way: if the weekend was our time to recharge, then Monday is when we hit the ground running (or at least walking briskly with purpose and maybe a little help with our caffeine of choice…did I mention I’m cutting coffee right now?) Here’s the thing – God woke us up this morning! That alone is a reason to smile and say, “Let’s go!”

This week, whatever your routine looks like, whether it’s school drop-offs, emails, meetings, errands, or quiet time at home, step into it knowing that you carry God’s light. And His light doesn’t dim on Mondays. In fact, it might just shine brighter when the world is a little grumpy.

So let’s be the reason someone else smiles today. Let’s show patience in traffic, kindness at work, and grace with ourselves. We don’t have to do it perfectly, just faithfully.
