“We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.” — Psalm 78:4
Every believer has a story, a testimony of how God’s grace has met them in the ordinary and the extraordinary. Our stories are not just personal memories. They are divine opportunities for connection, encouragement, and transformation.
In a world that often prizes polished appearances over authenticity, there is a deep hunger for real connection. Sharing our stories… our struggles, victories, and the presence of God in and through it all, creates space for others to see that they are not alone.
During His time on earth, Jesus spent a great deal of His ministry in conversation and in relationship. Whether at a well with a Samaritan woman, in the home of Zacchaeus, or around a dinner table with friends and strangers, Jesus built bridges through personal connection. And often, these connections began with storytelling. Jesus told parables that revealed truth, moments of vulnerability, and invitations to see God at work in everyday life.
As followers of Christ, we are invited to do the same. Telling our stories isn’t about elevating or promoting ourselves; it’s about revealing God’s faithfulness. And when we take the time to truly listen to the stories of others, we echo Christ’s love and extend the kingdom of God through relationship.

When was the last time you shared your faith story with someone?
