We started our new Bible study last night at church. This morning, when I got to Isaiah 43:18-19, I felt like it summed up that first lesson fairly well. It says this, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Moving on is never easy. Whether we’re leaving behind comfort and familiarity or trying to rise from places of deep pain and trauma. Sometimes, we know it’s time to move, but our hearts resist. Other times, we feel too broken or afraid to take a step.
But God continually calls us forward. He doesn’t leave us in our comfort zones or in our despair. God invites us into the future He has prepared… a future full of hope, healing, and purpose.
Wherever you find yourself today, settled, stuck, or scared, ask the Holy Spirit for strength. Identify the places you’re holding back, and trust God to lead you into what’s next. The world may change, but God’s plans remain sure. Walk boldly in faith, knowing He walks with you. Happy Wednesday, friends!♥️
